Hello, there! I hope you are having a lovely August. I am currently elbow-deep in writing the remaining songs for Atlas! It has felt incredibly good to be in this season of writing and recording. I’m taking a quick break to share a few things with you today! In a nutshell:

New: Atom 17
I’m so excited to share that a new Atom is out now!! If you are unfamiliar with my Atoms project, it’s an ongoing series of mini pieces of music inspired by tiny and beautiful things! When I see something striking throughout my day, I record a short video of it. Then, I write a short piece of new music for that moment. Tiny film scores, if you will. The idea is to musically follow Mary Oliver’s timeless words: “instructions for living a life: pay attention. be astonished. tell about it.” This particular Atom (Atom 17) was filmed at a park in London where I noticed the way the water made a reflection on this old wall. Saturn Live in London
As a longtime fan of Blogothèque, it was a real joy and honor to film this intimate performance of Saturn in such a beautiful place. We shot this video in July in Peckham Rye station’s Old Waiting Room, London, just after my Europe tour concluded. Singing this song, in this space, felt like such a meaningful way to close out the tour. The video was directed by the lovely James Hough. I hope you enjoy.
