Dear Friends,
Hello there! I hope you are enjoying these first weeks of fall! New season = new music! Today’s Letter includes:
New Atlas Song: Parallel Universe (Philia)
Atlas: II Vinyl Box Set Repressing
Mini Album Soft-Enamel Pins
New Atlas Song: Parallel Universe (Philia)
My new song Parallel Universe (Philia) is now yours! Parallel Universe (Philia) is the eighteenth Atlas: III song. The official release date is October 16, but as always, I’m very honored to share it with you first!
One of the themes I’ve enjoyed exploring throughout Atlas: III is Greek definitions of love (eros, agape, pragma, etc.) Parallel Universe is inspired by philia; the Greek word for platonic love- the love and trust found within friendship.
In the weeks around writing this song, I struggled with health anxiety (something I’ve had a particularly difficult time with since losing my mom in 2022). That anxiety kept creeping into the initial draft of this song, which I kept trying to push away, until I realized that friendship has been a meaningful place of compassion throughout these last few years of my grief and anxiety. Those friendships brought a lot of oxygen into my life when I needed it. So, this song is about the parallel universes we find in our friends.
Atlas: II Vinyl Box Set Repressing
I am pleased to share that my Atlas: II triple-vinyl box set has been repressed and is now available! Featuring entirely random vinyl colors in every set (no two sets are alike!), with a gorgeous booklet full of paintings and lyrics for each song, all housed inside a premium linen-wrapped box adorned with gold foil details. I’m very proud of the Atlas box sets and how they turned out!
Mini Album Soft-Enamel Pins
One of my very favorite merch items is the series of tiny 1.5” soft-enamel pins, which are miniatures of my real vinyl records: Saturn, Space, Enneagram, Astronomy, Turning Page, Atlas: I and the newly repressed, Atlas: II. They are adorable and were designed by my pal and incredible designer, Tim Damitz. They are now available in a discounted bundle when you purchase all seven pins. Discount applied at checkout. Grab them now while supplies last!
It truly is an honor to share new music with you! Thank you for listening and for being curious about my latest! It means so much to me! I hope these first weeks of fall have been lovely for you! Speak soon.
Huge love, Ryan
P.S. Here’s a list of things I love right now:

Narrow Escapes (This show about houseboats charmed my socks off.)
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort (This will be so much fun.)
Doomsday (My girls and I are all caught up on the entire MCU and cannot wait. It will be so much fun to see with them on opening day!)
