Firstly, it is a joy to introduce you to my new song Want! It’s out now! Listen here. It belongs to my Atlas: III project and is the “sibling song” to my recently released, Have. Want is about reaching for a future, reaching for control that I’m not supposed to have. While Have is about being grateful and content, but often holding on to things too tight. Hope you enjoy these two songs!
Secondly, I’m honored to be invited to play four shows in my hometown, Wheaton, IL as part of screenings of a brand-new documentary created by Wonderkind Studios called Sleeping At Last: Light Carries On. (Watch the trailer.) All four concerts/screenings will be held at The Backyard on Feb 1 (4pm & 7:30pm) and Feb 7 (4pm & 7:30pm) Tickets on sale now! Really looking forward to sharing some songs and stories with you.
Lastly, I wanted to let you know that two new episodes of The Sleeping At Last Podcast are out now! An episode for Want and an episode for Have, detailing every nook and cranny of what went into creating these two new songs. Spoiler: They’re about control and letting go. Listen here.
