O Dec. 21st, 2020, we earthlings get to witness the "Great Conjunction" - where the planets, Saturn and Jupiter appear to almost kiss in the sky. The last time we were able to view this bright sight was 800 years ago. As if that's not awesome enough, it takes place on the Winter Solstice of 2020... AND near Christmas, some have nicknamed it a "Christmas star." So yeah, there's no way I was going to miss the chance to write a piece of music inspired by this beautiful sight! Again, we need to celebrate any and all good and beautiful things in 2020. So, I wrote a tiny "soundtrack" for you to consider bringing along with you if you're going to observe the Great Conjunction.

Also thrilled to tell you that alongside "The Great Conjunction" song, I've released a new episode of my podcast, The Sleeping At Last Podcast! So if you're curious about the writing process of this piece of music, I tried something new for me and recorded an episode simultaneously as I wrote this song. So you can hear all of the sparks and ashes of my writing process! A time-lapse in the shape of a podcast. It's out everywhere podcasts are, now!

Earlier this week, I was so honored that my song "North" got to be a part of the Winter Finale episode of Grey's Anatomy!!! Forever grateful for the incredible love and kindness the Grey's family and fans have shown my music!

Ah thank you for reading and keeping up with my latest! Means so much. Hoping the Holidays have already been treating you kindly. Here's to a beautiful and healing 2021.

Huge Love, Ryan - Sleeping At Last
