KID PRESIDENT - THE TV SHOW!

I’ve loved movie and TV music since I was a kid. (My first CD ever was The Lion King soundtrack.) Needless to say, I’m beyond thrilled to announce that I am scoring music for my very first TV show! It’s called "Kid President: Declaration of Awesome” and it premieres this Saturday, June 21st on HUB Network 6PM CST!

It’s a fun, wonderful and truly special show! I’m so very proud to be a part of it. There are 8 episodes in Season 1 and it’s jam-packed with heart, celebrity guests and Kid President silliness… and all throughout you’ll hear lots of new music from me, as well as some familiar Sleeping At Last songs!

I so hope you and your family will tune in!!

Atlas 6-CD Box Set & New Shirt!

Hello there! It’s been a little while! I hope you're doing so very well and that the Summer is off to a lovely start!

Ever since completing Atlas: Year One, I’ve been working nonstop on a few projects that I can’t wait to tell you about!! Though I can’t share details just yet, I can say that I’ve been working on scoring my first TV series, and soon my first Documentary film!! All of that in addition to working on Atlas: Year Two!! I can’t wait to give you details sooooon. But first…

ATLAS: 6-CD BOX SET!

So thrilled to announce that “Oceans,” the final chapter to Atlas: Year One, ships out later this week!! Which means, the gorgeous 6-CD Atlas: Year One CD Box Set is now complete and available to order!!

I couldn’t be more proud of how this set turned out - 30 songs across 6 CDs along with 30 Art Cards featuring exclusive paintings for each song by Geoff Benzing, all in a beautiful fabric-wrapped, foil-stamped storage box.

The Season 10 Finale of Grey’s Anatomy airs tonight (9/8c on ABC) and I’m SO thrilled and honored to announce that TWO brand-new covers I recorded will be featured! I can’t tell you the song titles, so you’ll have to tune in to find out, but I am sooo excited for you to hear ‘em!

The 2 new covers will be available on iTunes after the show airs, fyi!!

Hello there, friends!! Today’s a big day here in the Sleeping At Last HQ!

NEW EP “OCEANS” OUT NOW!

"Oceans", the final chapter of Atlas: Year 1 is officially OUT NOW!!!

"Oceans” not only concludes Year 1 of my ongoing Atlas project, it's also my very first all-instrumental release. 5 pieces of music inspired by our world’s 5 Oceans. I studied the characteristics of each, and had an incredible time translating each Ocean into music. If you listen close, you’ll hear recordings of whale songs, icebergs cracking, boats creaking, submarine sonars pinging, and at the very end of the final song, “Arctic," you’ll even hear the young 16-week old heartbeat of my soon-to-be-born child. (which serves as a clue to the next theme in my ongoing Atlas series of music!) Needless to say, I deeply enjoyed writing these songs and am so honored for you to hear them!!

HUGE thanks to my incredibly gifted friend, Sharon Gerber, who lent me her amazing cello talents on the song “Arctic.” She is amazing! Check her music out here!

ATLAS: YEAR 2!

As many of you may already know, Atlas is an ongoing series of music. Though Atlas: Year 1 is now complete, I am already hard at work on Atlas: Year 2, which continues the overarching story of how our universe came to be, and how we were woven together inside it. Though I am waiting to announce all of the upcoming themes, I am excited to tell you that the first theme of Atlas: Year 2 will be “Life." I can’t wait to share more details with you soon, but in the meantime, I hope Atlas: Year 1 songs will keep you good company.
